YOUTH’S ORDEAL
IMPRISONED IN MACHINE HAND SEVERELY CRUSHED I Per Preet Association. ] NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 30. With a hand severely crushed Albert allot, aged 18, was to-day imprisoned i.i a metal stamping machine with 12 tons of pressure for half an hour while his work mates partially dismantled the machine to release him. His hand was so crushed that two fingers had to be amputated.
