FARMERS’ UNION A meeting of the Mnngaweka branch • f the New Zealand Farmers’ Union ras held on Tuesday. 20th instant, to iecide whether the. branch continue to unction. About 26 members were preset, including Mr. Hammond fprovin ial president) and Mr. Little (proineial secretary). After a discussion I was. decided to carry on for 12 lonths and «»® if «ome interest will 1 e taken. 'l’he following officers were then lecled:—Prosidert. Mr. 0. X. Bram?v; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. 1‘ haw and G. Clarke; secretary, Mr. . M< Cc.ard. Mr Hammond then addressed the looting on the activities of the nion. The meeting closed with a vote of hanks to Mr. Hammond and Mr. ittlo for their assistance.
