GOLF. '.rhe secund bogey competition among the men of the Waimarino Golf Club was played over the week-end. The weather was fine but the course was heavy. Afarks, the winner was 4 down, Childs 5 down, Canaran, Strange, A. G. Urwin, Appleton, and Kennedy 6 down, and Coker 7 down. In the ferns match Mrs. Murray and Murray retained the trophy from Airs. Fowler and Strange. Kennedy beat Coker by 6to 5 in the 1 McKay Cup competition. The following is the draw for the ' fourth stroke competition:—Canaran v. 1 Davies, St range v. A. E. Urwin, Rose v. ‘ Ritchie, Marshall v. Murray, A. G. ( Urwin v. Appleton, Marks v. Wilson, .' Dr. I'elthani v. Watt, Kennedv v. 1 Childs. Webb v. Coker.
