NIAGARA DELAYED

( Ter Press Association ) AUCKLAND, Ang. 2f. The liner Niagara, which was orig» inally scheduled to sail for Vancouver at 5 o’clock last night, was still in port at mid-day. Mto cargo caused the first delay in her departure, but since $ o’clock last night the ship has been ready to sail, but has been hold up because she is one seaman short. One seaman went ashore ill and the shipping company has been unable to fill the vacancy. The ship is on Australian articles. As a result of the delay the New Zealand 'varsity hockey team will miss the first test which they were to play at Suva on Saturday.
