A significant indication of the new trend of Empire air line operations is the fact that Imperial Airways are arranging that all of the senior captains be trained in piloting flying-boats. There is much activity among Imperial Airways flying staff in readiness for. a general change oyer to flying-boats when the latter are available in sufficient numbers to operate on the principal Empire routes.
