Owing to rhe rain squalls it was not started until late in the afternoon and was played under adverse conditions. Oldham scored two fries, converting one, and Stcere one try for the Banks. Points for the Stock Firms were gained by Mi-Carthv and Davidson, who scored a try each, while McCormack kicked a penalty and converted one try. Mr E. J. Crotty was the referee.
