HAWKE’S BAY HUNT
FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. The only race, meeting in N'ew Zealand this week is the annual fixture of the Hawke’s Bay Hunt Club. Io le held at Hastings to-morrow, but ties w !i mark the commencement of a circuit of hunt fixtures which will be continued with the Rangitikei Hunt (,'l'i.j fixture next Wednesday and the Manawatu Racing Club’s hunt meeting ei, Saturday of next week. Acceptances for tomorrow's races are considered very satisfacto'y ami the racing may throw some iight on forthcoming events. Starting times at Hastings to-morrow will be: 12.1), 12.4 U, 1.20, 2.0, 2.40, 3.20 and 4.0 p.m. Santoft, who will resume racing at Hastings to-morrow, is now owned by .Mr. (’. Boyle. He has recently been qualified with the Hawke’s Bay Hunt. The name. »of Sligo has been allowed for the Irish Reel gelding in the -icceptames for the maiden event at Hastings. ]|p is an eight year-old bv (Town Imperial II ami is owned by the trainer 11. S. Greene.
