He and his family felt that many of the residents of the town and district did not yet realise the very valuable asset that the Dental Clinic was to the town, lie also spoke of his work on the School Commit tee. Whatever he had been able to do had been a pleasure and his family and he were leaving tire town with regret. The presentation took the form of a statue pendulum clock and two boxes of cutlery.
