MEET AT “BELLEVUE The day was bright and sunny when bounds met on Wednesday, and a good Jiel'l l.:rned out for a, ni’d-vvc/k hunt. 'I he pat'ch of gorse in the old rifle range paddock was lirsl tried, and a hare was soon sent away. It c'rcled round between two patches of guise several times before hounds vould get her out iu the open. When they broke, the pack headed uut towards Huntlv School and then turned to the right across a paddock of young grass to 'he main load, then doubling buck to the starting point, where hounds lost in a large gorse hedge. A in>l her run took hounds across Mr Amlrews’ property right to the back boumlary where scent again failed. This was unfortunate as the hare had been viewed nut *erv far ahead. As hounds had had ti hard day they were called off. There w:.s a surprise waiting for the followers when they got back to the road a- Miss Margaiet Marshall had the bit v boiling and a very welcome G'R. Those following were:—The master. J.
