SACK FACTORY IN FLAMES TWO FIREMEN KILLED LONDON, July 7. While firemen were fighting a big deckside fire at Poplar a wall crashed, killing two firemen and injuring a third. Their comrades dashed into the debris and recovered the bodies. The fire involved a three-storey sack factory and 200 firemen, 60 engines, motor pumps, ladders and other appli ances were requisitioned. Fire floats played from the Thames.
