POSTAL PACKETS
OFFICIAL ADMITS THEFTS. INVIIRCARGILL, May 29. Six charges of stealing postal packets containing postal notes c-f a total value of £5 18s ltd, were preferred against William John Lattimer, ■ 39, married, Post and Telegraph Department official, in the Police Court to-day. Accused pleaded guilty to all the charges and was committed for sentence, bail being fixed at. £lOO and one surely of £loo.'
