JOHNSTON—ROBERTS.

'l'he wedding was celebrated at Christ Church on Tuesday, /April 23, of Minnie Elizabeth, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Roberts, of Wanganui, and John Terrence, first son of the late Captain Johnston and Airs. Johnston, of Wanganui. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Archdeacon J. R. Y'oung. The bride, who was given away by her brother. Mr. Pat Roberts, wore a slim-fitting frock of cream inset with georgette panels and forming a slight train. Her tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossoms. and her bouquet was of roses and '‘maidenhair fern. I’he bridesmaid, Aliss Fay Davis, of Palmerston North, and the flower girl, Nola Roberts, sister of Ihe bride, wore ankle-length frocks of apricot coloured lace with headdresses and shoes to tone. Bouquets nf autumn flowers and leaves were carried. Air. John Berry was best man, and Air. Max Johnston, brother of (he bridegroom was groomsman. After the ceremony, about 40 guests were entertained at the bride’s home. Airs. Roberts wore black georgette and lace, swagger coat and hat to match. When Air. and Airs. Johnson left by car for the south, rhe bride wore a nigger brown ensemble, hat, shoes and bag t'» tone.
