CAMERON—HEAN. Alanv friends and well-wishers gathered at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church yesterday afternoon to witness the marriage of Aliss Winifred Hean. daughter of Airs. Hean and the late Mr.°G. W. Hean, of Wanganui, to Air. Slewart Cameron, of Wellington. The church had been attractively decorated bv members of the Wanganui Girls’ College Old Girls’Association, of which the bride was an active committee member. Cactus dahlias in pastel pink and gold tonings and asparagus fern were used, and the pews for the guests were marked with bows in the college colours of blue and gold. The Rev. John Paterson M.A., officiated at ths ceremony, and wedding music was played by the church organist, Mrs. Emmett. The bride, who entered the church with her brother, Mr. G. Harold Hean, of Wellington, wore a becoming twopiece ensemble of wool georgette in mushroom pink shade with smart pleated effect, and velour hat in mushroom pink and brown tones. She carried an armlet of pale pink spiked chrysanthemume, pink roses and maidenhair fern with brown ribbon streamers. The bride was attended by her sister, Airs. Lionel Young, as matron of honour, who wore a frock of pastel blue with coatee in a deeper shade of blue, and hat of deep toned blue velou?. The bouquet she carried was composed of pink roses, blue delphiniums and other flowers and maidenhair fern with blue ribbon streamers. Mr. Maurice Hirst, of Wanganui East, was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held al the Elrick Lounge. To receive her guests, Airs. Hean wore n smart navy blue ensemble with hat to tone and held a posy of autumn gold zinnias, cactus dahlias, berries and maidenhair fern. The bridegroom's mother was attired in a frock of jubilee blue marocain, coat and hat to tone and carried a posy of autumn tinted zinnias and red berries. When the bride and bridegroom left for the south, the bride travelled in a brown coat to tone with her ensemble, and skin shoes, and carried a handbag to match.
