' Th ice young Bengalis and one Englishman were killed when two Bengal Flying Club ’planes collided near Dumdum Aerodrome while the machines were manoeuvring for landing. ENGLISH GIRL A VICTIM. Received April 29, 10.5 p.m. CALCUTTA, April 29. The air victims were three young Bengalis, members of the Aero Club, and an English girl. Miss Brownlow. One ’plane carried away the other’s tail', two victims dropping out. CRASH FROM 300 fTWO KILLED LONDON. April 28. Mr. Arthur Sebag Montefiore was piloting his own aeroplane, with Mr. G. Stevenson as a passenger when it crashed from 300 ft. owing io the engine stalling, while attempting to land at Cranston aerodrome. Mr. Stevenson was killed instantly. Mr. Montefiore died in hospital. He was a ' nephew of Lord Bcarsted and was aged 23. He married in 1932 Jacqueline Nathan, of Auckland. He leaves a son. was a keen airman and narrowly escaped from a blazing ’plane when flying with his brother last July.
