Sir, —1 was astounded when 1 went up to your magnificent Library to find it shut (to-day, buuday), just the time people have leisure to read. Candidates lor election please note.— Yours, etc., “A TAKANAKI-ITE.” The reading room was opened on •Sunday at one time but the arrangement was discontinued because ’he public did not use the reading roum to any extent. —Editor.
