GOLF Ladies of the Waverley Golf Club 1 bold their official opening on Tuesday. There was a fair attendance of mem--3 bers and visitors and the links were in splendid order. A Canadian foursome was played during the afternoon the • winners being Miss Train and Mrs. D. Lupton, with Mrs. Pepper and Miss 3 Beer runners-up. The result of the putting •competition was Mrs. Pepper » in the senior division and Miss N. Barrow in the juniors. The following is the draw for Tuesday, April 16: — Mrs. Handley v. Mrs. D.
