SIR S- ARGYLE’S CABINET. PERSONNEL ANNOUNCED. MELBOURNE, March 20. The Premier (‘Sir Stanley Argyle) announced the following reconstructed Ministry:— Premier and Treasurer: Sir Stanley Argyle. Attorney-General and Chief Secretary: Mr. lan Macfarlan. Minister of Transport and Labour: Mr. W. S. Kent Hughes. Minister of Public Works: Mr. J. P. Jones. Minister of Education and Assistant Treasurer; Mr. H. E. Cohen. Minister of Lands and Forests: Mr. T. K. Maltby. Minister of Agriculture and Mines: Dr. Shields. Minister of Water Supply and Electricity: Mr. H. E. Cohen. In addition there are four honorary Ministers. The Deputy-Premier is Mr. Kent Hughes. it is expected that the Country Party will shortly oust the new Ministry 'and receive a commission to form One itself. The composition of the parties is: United Australia Party 25, Country Party 20, Labour 17, and Independents 3.
