7IUNICIPAL OPPOSITION I. Per Press Association J CHRISTCHURCH, March 21. The conference of Municipal Associations viewed with alarm the number of advertising hoardings throughout the country. The matter was introduced for discussion by the Mt. Eden Borough Council. At its suggestion it was decided to urge all local bodies to frame by-laws restricting the erecting of hoardings. Delegates also agreed to ask the Counties’ Association to cooperate in the matter.
