CASTLECLIFF LADIES’ CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. At the annual general meeting of the Castlccliff Ladies’ Golf Club on Monday evening the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. Wagstaff; vice-president, Airs. SEAFIELD LADIES’ CLUB CLUB DAY NEXT TUESDAY The Seafield Ladies’ Golf Club will hold a club day next Tuesday, M.arch 26. Players will arrange their own partners or will be paired at the clubhouse. SEAFIELD CLUB OPENING DAY TO-MORROW The Scafield Golf Club’s 1935 season will open to-morrow, when mixed foursomes will be played over twelve holes. Starting places will be Nos. I, 3 and 6. Those starting at No. 3 will play to No. 12 and then play Nos. 1 and 2. Those starting at No. 6 will play to No. 12 and will then play 1 to 5, inclusive. Afen will drive from the tees with even numbers. Holes Nos. 13 up to 18 are not to be played in the opening match. CASTLECLIFF CLUB OPENING OF NEW SEA-SON MEMBERS ELECT OFFICERS A decision to hold the opening of the 1935 season to-morrow was made by members of the Castlecliff Golf Club at the annual meeting last night. After the annual report, which indicated a very promising position, had been presented to members, the election of officers resulted as follows; — President, Mr R. R. Dawson; vicepresident, Air Ettrick Christie; captain, J. J. Macneil; vice-captain, AV. B. Smith; secretary, F. AV. Wagstaff; treasurer, R. C. Cook; committee, Alessrs A. W. Brown, J. H. Dean, and E. H. Smith; hon. auditor, Mr A. J. Ross. The official opening on Saturday will be a mixed Canadian foursome. Players will choose their own partners and opponents. Any players not paired will have partners provided for them at the clubhouse.
