MATCH AT WAVERLEY WIN FOR ST. JOHN’S TEAM A team from the St. John’s Lawn Tennis Club met a local team on the Waverley tennis courts during the week-end, and although in most cases the visitors proved much too strong for the Waverley players, there were several very interesting games. Waverley, although not a particularly strong team, is a very keen one, and the afternoon’s play against a stronger team was most beneficial.
