AN ENDURANCE RECORD SOUTH AMERICAN'S CLAIM NEW YORK, Feb. 24. The New York Times’ Buenos Aires correspondent states that Pedro Candioti, 43, claimed the swimming endurance record to-day when he completed 87 hours in the water, swimming down the Parana River from Santa Fe to Searate. 51 miles above the Bairesu, a total of 281 miles. This is the third unsuccus.-ful attempt to- swim from Santa Fe to Bairesu.
