METHODIST CHURCH DIAMOND JUBILEE Last Friday a well attended and enthusiastic meeting of members and adherents to the Sanson Methodist Church discussed and adopted plans for a worthy celebration of this histone occasion. The Rev. G. Frost, of Auck land, a former minister, has consented to be the preacher. The plans for the celebrations in elude a garden party on Saturday, April 13; two services on Sunday, and a concert with supper on Monday even ing. It is hoped to resuscitate the choir of other days, giving formei choir-members the privilege of leading the singing at the services and of assisting with the programme for tin concert. Committees have been appointed in charge of various competitions for Hit garden parly. Jt is hoped that the dia mond jubilee will have the two fold re suit of bringing about a spiritual revival in the local church and of mak ing possible the painting of both church and parsonage. It is the intention of the trustees to circularise a'l past an l present members and adherents. (Continued on Page 12)
