WANGANUI MINOR CLUBS ASSOCIATION MEETING A meeting of the executive of the Wanganui Minor Tennis Clubs’ Association was held on Monday evening with a representative attendance, Mr G. A. Ammundseu presiding. There were also present: Mrs Tizard (Aramoho), Messrs P. Tarr (vice president, Gaius), R. Alilne Allan (honorary secretary, Chufch of England), J. Thomson (Wesley), J. Foster (Cains), L. Gould (Eastern), F. Newton (Knox), and Everett; (Cambridge). With the amended rules of tho W.L.T.A. before it, the association decided its earlier tentative application for affiliation as a sub-association. This may now be said to be an accomplished fact as the parent body * incorporated the necessary alterations in its niles so as to admit tho Minor Association subject to certain provisions ' which have appeared in the columns before. Easter Tournament It was decided that the Easter tournament shall be held th s year as usual. This is an open tournament for all members of clubs affiliated to the subassociation of minor clubs and is held on Good Friday, Saturday, and Easter Monday.
