RECENT TURN OF EVENTS MR. MACDONALD WORRIED I [By Telegraph -Press Association— Copy right] LONDON, Feb. 3. “As the result of (he recent turn of events the National Government's stocks are at the lowest since it took power. ’ says the Sun correspondent. Mr. MacDonald is very worried, and does not waul to reconstruct the Cabinet until the Indian Bill has been legislated, but there are great efforts to force his hand. “Mr. Neville Chamberlain would not tolerate Mr. Lloyd George’s inclusion in the Cabinet at any price, and his inclusion would split, the Conservatives beyond repair. Meanwhile, the Conservative revolt in connection with Mr. Randolph Churchill’s intrusion in the by election is more serious than anticipated. while the cri sis over unemployment insurance has embittered the working classes. Some Ministers admit I hat if an election were imminent, the Government would lose everv scat in II he industrial north. ’ ’ ELECTION PROSPECTS CONSIDERABLE UNREST. LONDON, Feb. 3. The possibility of Cabinet changes and the inclusion of Mr. Lloyd George has been canvassed by the Observer, which expresses the opinion that a general election cannot be postponed after the autumn owing to the fact that 200 supporters of the Government feel the increasing danger of losing their seats under the present conditions, while the mass of Ministerial Commoners are demanding changes in the Government’s composition and a policy affording a better chance of electoral success. There is a growing feeling that the reconstruction should be done now’, preferably with Mr. Lloyd George.
