BULLS
BULLS TALKIES To-night the Bulls Town Hall should present an animated sight on the occasion of the monster joy night, run on similar lines to the New Year dance. Coloured lighting effects, streamers, balloons, and confetti wjll combine to lend a carnival air to the occasion. Good prizes will be given for noveltydances, spotlight waltzes and the Monte Carlo. The music will be supplied by bovoday’s Old-time Orchestra and an excellent supper will be provided. During the dancing suitable short feature films will be screened at intervals, all combining to furnish a wonderful evening’s entertainment. EVENING SPORTS A splendid programme will be run off at the Bulls evening sports on Thursday, the first event starting at 6 p.m. I*our cycle raves will be one feature, the distances being half, one, two and three miles, and running events will be over 100 yards, 220 yards, and 880 yards. At the conclusion the presentation of prizes will take place. BULLS SPORTS CLUB A meeting of the general committee of the Bulls Sports Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr C. K. Vile presiding over a good attendance of members. After discussion it was decided against holding horse events this year. The annual sports gathering wiil be held on Bulls Domain On March 2, and officials were appointed for the meeting. Messrs J. Tricker and J. F. McKclvie kindly offered to donate trophies as points prizes for cycling and running events respectively.
