THREE YEARS’ HARD LABOUR. ( Per Press Association ). AUCKLAND, Nov. 5. Found guilty of assault and robbery. William Keogh was sentenced to-day to three years’ hard labour, and a companion. Robert Reidy, who was guilty of robbery, to six mouths’ hard labour. Judge Fair said that in July. 1932, Keogh had been, sentenced for robbery with violence to two years’ hard labour and a flogging. Within three months of his release he had committed an unnecessarily brutal assault. He had considered, but had decided not to order, another flogging.
