OHAKUNE

RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ASSOCIATION At the half-yearly meeting of the Ohakune branch of the R.S.A. the report and balance-sheet showed that 38 members had received orders on stores, and in 14 cases wages had been subsidised from the canteen funds. Two distress cases had been assisted from the Poppy Day Fund. At the conclusion of the business a social evening was held, items being given by Messrs. Hardy, Carroll, Stevens and Mahony.
