BROADCAST PLANS

THE ROYAL WEDDING LONDON, Oct. 28. At least 30,000,000 people will hear the wedding service of t>hc Duke of Kent and Princess Marina at Westminster Abbey on November 29. The ceremony is being broadcast to all Empire stations, the United States, and parts of Europe. There will first be a running commentary on the scenes outside the Abbey. This will gradually fade into the service within. A special control room is being constructed in the Henry VII chapel, from which the engineers will control the broadcast. The Duke of Kent will visit Da ventry on Monday to see the station from which the Dominions and colonies will hear the service.
