LONDON-MELBOURNE CIRCUIT. [ British Official Wireless. J RUGBY, Oct. 26. Owing to the exceptionally large number of telephone calls between London and Alelbourne on Tuesday after the result of the air race was known, the radio telephone circuit was kept open for 30 minutes beyond the normal period, and for 7 hours 26 minutes there was unbroken communication. Calls for broadcasting purposes accounted for only about 15 minutes, the bulk of the conversations being private, originated by relatives of flyers, newspapers, film, and trade interests connected avith the race.
