Four-ball com- y peitions over 15 holes were played & during the forenoon, and pair matches £ in the afternoon. John Brycrs, who has been living with his son at the Waimarino Hotel for some time, took 1 place on Alonday morning. Air. Bryers was 91 years of age. Air. and Airs. F. L. Lee and family 1 are spending a short holiday at Castlecliff. ; Airs. C. D. Scarrow is at present on ; holiday in Wanganui. Air. ami Airs. J. A. Aird arc at present in Palmerston North.
