INCLUSION IN LEAGUE
SOVIET S ADMISSION A GROUP INVITATION MAJORITY ASSURED (Times Cable.) Received Sept. 4, 10.25 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 4. The Times’ Geneva correspondent states that it is understood that the method of the Soviet’s admission to the League will be by invitation issued by a group of members of the League Council. It is generally believed that the inviting Powers have been assured of the two-thirds majority necessary to ensure admission.
