WHALE’S CARCASE ASHORE
TWICE TOWED TO SEA. SYIDNEY HARBOUR PROBLEM. SYDNEY, Sept. 4. The whale, which died after a collision with a Manly ferry boat, drifted back on to the rocks at Sydney heads after being towed live miles out to sea. It was then towed 14 miles out. but again drifted ashore at Botany Bay. An official of the Harbour rust stated: “Wc will get rid of it this time, if we have to take it to New Zealand. ’ ’
