INTEREST REDUCTION

AUSTRALIAN RURAL BANK. SYDNEY, July 4. The Commissioners of the Rural Bank have announced that they are reducing the interest rate to borrowers to maximum of 4J per cent. The decision affects over 40,000 clients. In 1931 the interest charged by the bank ranged up to 6£ per cent.
