LONDON WOOL SALES

CHECKING BEARISH MOVE. GENERAL PROSPECTS BRIGHTER. Received Julv 4, J 1.35 p.m. LONDON, July 4. Messrs. H. Dawson and Sons report: The opening of the wool sales should provide a genuine basis for traders anl check the bearish movement of recent months. Since March values have shrunk, Bradford much more seriously than the Continental markets, and produced a spirit of despondency which was quite unjustified when the general commercial statistical position is taken into consideration. The general business conditions of Great Britain are brighter than for many years past. So far as the Home trade is concerned, the textile industry can definitely look forward to better times.
