Miss R. Whitaker is a Wellington visitor to Wanganui, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Ross were Napier visitors to Wanganui this week. Mr. and Mrs. R. McLean, of Kakatahi, are visiting Wanganui. • • ♦ * Mrs. Hendry, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rhimes, Wanganui, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. C. W. Liggins, Kawatiri Avenue, was hostess at a farewell bridge party recently in honour of Mrs. Eccles, Lower Hutt. Mrs. D. Dickie, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. J. McMillan, StJohn’s Hill.
