From the moment they step oi the tram and “Dad” mistakes an obliging chauffeur for “one of those city spielers he’d ’card about,” the “Hayseeds” arc in trouble, and you’ll be in trouble, tc«o, trying: to keep up with the screaming pace they set. It’s a riot of laughter, punctuated with merry music, a charming romance, and scenic splendours of Australian city and country. You’ll love “The Hayseeds.” The supporting programme is well up to the standard of the main feature and includes the first chapter of the Peter B. Kyiic story ‘‘ Heroes of the West.’’
