“THE GOLDEN LEGEND.” The music-loving public is reminded of the Choral Society’s performance tonight and to-morrow night of Arthur Sullivan’s “Golden Legend” (poem by Longfellow). The solos have been entrusted to four of Wanganui’s leading vocalists: —Mrs. Huhne (soprano,s, Miss Jean Harman (contralto), Mr. Colin Browne (tenor), and Mr. John Emmett (baritone). The musical score is on hire from the Wellington Choral Union, and is not likely to be performed in Wanganui again.
