PERSONAL. Mr. D. Zoles has returned to Huntley. Miss Clause.i, VTanganui. is the guest of Airs. H. l. '.yc, Manui. Mr. Geo. ISalt is spending a few days at Taupo. KITCHEN TEA. The hall in the Lower Kawhatau was packed on Saturday evening, the guest of honour being Miss V. Phyn. The ■hostesses were Mesdames G. Green. H. Stowers and R. Lewis. Miss Phyn, who is shortly to be married, was the recipient of many beautiful gifts. Mr. Stowers spoke of Miss Phyn’s popularity among the people in this district and on behalf of the people wished her every happiness in her married life. Mr. Catherwood responded for Aliss Phyn. The evening was spent in dancing. Aliss Phyn’s future home will be at Turakina. GOLF. Following is the draw for the medal round to be played this week-end: —D. Barrell v, K. Fraser; 1. Dickson v. J. Failover; J. O’Callaghan v. L. Bailey; R. Bunker v. A. Kidd; H. Jacobs v. H. West wood; H. Way mouth v. T. Stroud; 1\ Bunker v. J. Cork; Al. Sutherland.
