RANGITIKEI RUGBY THE GLENN CUP. MAORIS v. PAHEHAS. The first representative match of the season in the Rangitikei district will be played on the Marton Park to-mor-row (Wednesday) when the Alaoris and Pakehas meet in the annual contest for the Glenn Cup. This match will also give an opportunity for the selector to pick the Rangitikei representative team to meet Taihape, at Taihape, on Saturday next. June 30. The Maori team appeared in Monday’s “Chronicle,” and Air. A. Kenwood has selected the following players to represent the Pakehas: — Full-back: Stock; three-quarters, Dickson, AlcPhee, Bartlett; five-eighths, Pollas, Nicol; half, McDonald; forwards, Williams, Bromley, Davies, Walter. Hamilton. Harpin’, James, Bridge; reserves, Burrell, Stevens, Claphani, Gordon, Walkley. Junior Shield Competition. In the junior shield competition Huntervine meets Halcombe. at Hunterville, on Wednesday, Mangawcka has drawn a bye.
