MISSING JEWELLERY

SEQUEL TO PARTY. CHARGE AGAINST HAWKER. [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, May 5. A decision was given by Mr. Stilwell in the Magistrate's Court in the case in which George Alerander Low. 31, canvasser and hawker, was charged with stealing five gold rings ana a necklace valued at £3B 10s, the property of G. L. Stedman. The hearing of the case was concluded on Friday, but the magistrate took time to consider whether he should dismiss the charge or commit Low for trial. Mr. Stilwell said he thought. Lowshould meet the charge of theft. Accordingly he committed Low to the Supreme Court for trial. Low pleaded not guilty.
