OBITUARY
MR JAMES A. CRAWFORD CRIMEAN WAR VETERAN. 1 Per Press Association. ] DUNEDIN, April The death occurred at Naseby ou Saturday of Mr James Archer Crawford, at the age of 104 years. He was a veteran of the Crimean War, during which he met the famous nurse, Florence Nightingale. After the war he followed the occupation of a miner in Australia and New Zealand. He came to Otago in 1861 and for 58 years had lived at Naseby with his wife, by whom ho is survived.
