OHINGAITI CONCERT
An attractive concert and dance is to be held in the Ohingaiti Public Hall on Friday, April 13, at 8 p.m., in aid of the funds of the Wanganui District Free Ambulance service. The dance will be preceded by a bright concert programme in which well known and popular Wanganui artists will be performing. Mr. George Swan, the popular veteran entertainer will make his first appearance at Ohingaiti, as well as Mr. Chas. Man (magician) and several others. The function will include a progressive euchre tournament without extra charge to concert patrons. The cause is one deserving of every support and in view of the fact that artists and musicians of such high standard are giving their services free of charge throughout, it is fully expected that an appreciative packed house will result. A first-class Wanganui dance band arranged by Mrs. F. H. Holz, A.T.C.L., will provide the music, and popular prices will, be charged. It is now nine months since the Free Ambulance commenced operations and during this time 263 cases have been attended and 6314 miles travelled by the ambulance.
