THE LONDON MARKET. The Bank of Australasia is in receipt of the following cable from its London office, dated April 4.—“ New 7 Zealand lambs demand good; with arrivals increasing this month slightly lower prices expected but no material change anticipated. New Zealand mutton larger supplies met with moderate demand, lightweights steady at present prices, heavyweights weaker, ew'es also have downward tendency; anticipate demand likely to improve when prices decline a little more. New Zealand beef market steady, moderate demand, no material change expected.”
