POPULAR IN SYDNEY. “Yesterday afternoon,” said a New Zealander, now resident in Sydney, ”1 had the pleasure of attending one of the fortnightly screenings of New Zea land tourist films released by the New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau, and honestly assert that 1 felt very proud as a New Zealander, to hear the complimentary remarks passed by various members of the audience. T.ie programme, which lasted approximately 45 minutes, was most, comprehensive and covered practically all the main tourist resorts of both islands, and the screening was prefaced and concluded with a few remarks by the New Zealand Government Trade and Tourist Commissioner, Mr. L. I wa* gratified to learn that, as a result of those screenings, which can be attended by anyone sufficiently interested Io procure a card of admission from the Tourist Bureau, many tours arc booked, and Mr. Schmitt is to bo highly eommendcd npon his enterprise.”
