CHALLENGE STILL OPEN MR. 'SPEARS’ CONTENTION [ Per Press Association. | WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. Air. Spears dccla.es that his challenge to Mr. Gcodfvilcw is still open. He says that it is correct that Air. Goodfellow’s figures appeared in tho Statist. Tho figures were given by Air. Goodfellow as the value of New Zealand’s sales ot primary produce to Great Britain. Actually they represented the value of our produce, plus freight, insurance, landing charges, buyers’ commission, and profit, and including even the whole of our wool and other produce, which was merely transhipped at London en route for the Continent.
