FOG IN ENGLAND
MANY SHIPPING DELAYS. Received Dee. 22, 11.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 22. A record fog has resulted in tho hold . up of the Homeric, with 600 Christmas ' cruise passengers, also the Majestic and { the cross-Channel steamer Isle of Thanet, which was six hours late in finding Boulogne harbour. The Hob son’s Bay was 36 hours late in crawling into Southampton to pick up 275 pas sengers wailing since Wednesday morn ing. She will not sail for Australia be fore night if the fog lifts.
