A XMAS TOAST

Tho toast is Xmas! Merry Xmas! Bring your glasses, gentlemen, Bring your slender, fragile glasses, Drink your wine and fill again. Down the years this life has led us, Y r ct will each one still recall Days when we were lost in Toyland, Eager children, very small. Drums and crackers lay about us, Here a frog of mighty hops, There a stocking crammed with treasures. Tops and balls and lollipops. Prancing steeds all made of metal. Soldiers standing stiff in line; Bottles filled with ruby syrup That we loved to think was wine Lift the wino in crystal goblets. While the ruby shades unfold. So we drink it, young and old. Gentlemen! The toast is Xmas.
