TASMAN FLIGHT
KINGSFORD SMITH’S PLANS I WILL CROSS ON JANUARY 11. * WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. In the course of a radio telephone conversation with his brother, Sir Jharles Kingsford Smith in Sydney, Mr. Wilfred Kingsford Smith, who is at jres in Wellington, ascertained that the Southern Cross will leave Sydney on Thursday, January 11, and will land at Yew Plymouth, where the tour of Now Zealand will commence. Sir Charles will probably be aeeomjanied by Mr. J. Percival, who was a mssenger in last year’s transtasman light, as well as Mr. S. E. Neilson, of Yow Plymouth. The Codock ’plane will be flown icross the Tasman at the end of Januiry, and will land at Auckland in time o join Sir Charles in the tour of rhe E <<>11th Island.
