PRESENTATION AT ONEHUNGA | In the presence of u large gathering of parents and pupils of the Onehunga 1 District School, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Buchanan, of Onehunga, yesterday afternoon presented their annual prizes to this year’s winners, May Gillman and Alan Hookings. The prizes whi<-h’ wore two cheques of £5 represent the interest on a capital fund provided by Mr. and Mrs. Buchanan for pupils of tne Onenunga ami Te Papapa Schools, and aro annually awarded to the boys and girls who have shown tho greatest capacity for overcoming obstacles and whose school work, apart from its quality, I had evinced in the greatest degree (qualities of determination, integrity and leadership.
