FREE AMBULANCE

ART UNION DRAWN Last evening Sergeant Cleary supervised tho drawing of tho Christmas Art Union organised to raise funds for the Free. Ambulance. The prize was £5 (alluvial gold), and the price of tickets fid each. For the past two months the superintendent-secretary of the Free Ambulance Service (Mr. Francis H. Holz), has been busily engaged in organising the art union and all supporters of the service will be very gratified to learn that over £750 worth of tickets were sold. The prize was won by E. P. MacGregor, 131 Gloucester Street, Christchurch, with ticket No. 36650.
